CANDIDATES
Erin Bernstein
Erin Bernstein, CPA has 25 years of financial experience, 15 of which has been in the education industry working for institutions whose primary focus was educating children in urban areas. She co-chairs the PTSA Brick Drive Committee and is a member of the PTSA Nominating Committee. She has supported many other PTSA events including Dows Lane movie night and the book fair. An avid baseball fan, she has lived in Irvington for eight years with her husband, eight year-old son, and poodle.

Michael Hanna
In 3 years on the Irvington School Board, and as its current President, Michael Hanna has focused on student success, safe and modern facilities, and fiscal responsibility. He is a Trustee for the regional Westchester Putnam School Boards Association. Michael owns Protean Films, a communications company and his work on award winning documentaries confronts important social issues. Michael is married to an elementary schoolteacher, and his two daughters attend IHS.

Beth Propper
Beth Propper is a 14 year resident of Irvington. She and her husband have a son (IHS '15) at NYU and a daughter at IMS. A dedicated volunteer, Beth has gained insight into our schools, K-12, including the college application process. Professionally, Beth is a public interest lawyer, coordinating efforts to improve child safety in Westchester. As a school board member, Beth will serve our community's best interests, building consensus with transparency and communication.
