In addition to the amazing science fair presenters and their projects, there was fantastic student artwork was on display, as well as information about Project Lead the Way projects and high school engineering and design classes. VOTE ON SUPPORTING THE SCHOOL BUDGET We're pleased to report that the measure to support the proposed 2018-2019 school budget was successfully passed. Our thanks to Dr. Kris Harrison, Superintendent, and to Carol Stein, the Assistant Superintendent for Business, for their presentation at the meeting on the proposed budget. Election Day is Tuesday, May 15th. Polls are open at Main Street School from 7am to 9pm. Please make sure that all members of your household over the age of 18 are registered to vote. Tuesday, May 8 7:00pm - 9:00pm Dows Lane iASK-CAB will be hosting an informative community event on May 8th featuring Dr. Stephen Dewey, a renowned neuroscientist whose work has been featured on 20/20, Dateline, The New York Times and more. Dr. Dewey will discuss the affects of addictive substances on the teen brain using actual PET images. His presentation will be followed by a interactive workshops for both adults and teens on vaping.
