5/23/2017 District News: Week of 5/29/17BULLDOG BRILLIANCE Pasta, Pajamas and Parents as Reading Partners ![]() Main Street School hosted its Pasta, Pajamas and Parents as Reading Partners event on May 17. Sponsored by the PTSA, the fun-filled evening provided an opportunity for students, who wore pajamas and enjoyed pasta for dinner, to discuss the books they recently read. The students, parents and staff members also welcomed Alice Scovell Coleman, author of “The Spirit of Chatsworth Mansion” and “Engraved in Stone,” as guest speaker. The event was made possible thanks to librarian Jackie Richardson and parent volunteers from PAC and the Library Committee. Special thanks to members of Irvington High School’s Latin Club and their advisor Michele Cella, who volunteered to serve food and create reading crafts with the students.
