Harlem Wizards Come to Irvington!
Don't miss the world famous Harlem Wizards basketball team, Friday, November 16th at 7pm in the Irvington HS gym! Come support our teachers and administrators take on the Wizards!
Advance purchase tickets start at $18 and are on sale online
starting October 16th or fill out the order form that was sent home and return to school. Meet and Greet tickets (courtside reserved seating, pregame meet & greet with players, souvenir lanyard and $10 discount on Wizards replica jersey) are $30 and available online only, quantities are limited.

The Irvington PTSA Winter Festival will take place on Saturday, December 1st from 12pm until 3pm at Main Street School. The Winter Festival is a day of fun for all ages featuring a community showcase with local clubs and organizations as well as the following activities:
★Decorate a Gingerbread House ($15)
★Construct a Blizzard in a Bottle ($12)
★Build a Snowman ($8)

PTSA SPECIAL NEEDS COMMITTEE
Please join the PTSA Special Needs Committee for our Annual Holiday Social
Friday December 7, 2018 at 7:00 PM at a private home in Irvington.
All parents with students in the Irvington schools are welcome.
Adults only, please.
The Special Needs Committee is a group of parents interested in coming together to discuss different aspects of having a student with special needs, which means having an IEP, 504 plan, building level services, accommodations, or any school or home based service.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SITE COMMITTEES
Now is your chance to become a volunteer at your child's school. One Tuesday a month, for about an hour will afford you the opportunity to help make a difference. Just some of the improvements made because of the leadership of the Site Committees are: Revitalizing Recess, Imagination Playground and the Peaceful Playground at Dows Lane; the development of the Community Garden, the Community Playground and improvements to indoor/outdoor recess at Main Street; creation of the Insider's Guide to IMS, making revisions to the Student Handbook and recommendations for beautification of the Middle School, and enhancing the senior internship experience and the development of the Core Value Awards program at the High School.
Dows Lane, Main Street School, the Middle School and the High School are each in need Site Committee Members. Please include the name of the school where you are interested in becoming a Site Committee member and remember that you must have a child in that school in order to be eligible.
