BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB  Help celebrate your child’s birthday with a unique gift to The Dows Lane Library! When your child joins the Dows Lane Birthday Book Club, a book is donated to the school library with a special commemorative bookplate in your child’s honor. It’s a fantastic way to help grow our library collection and get your child excited about reading! To join the Birthday Book Club fill out the Birthday Book Club Form. Around the time of your child’s birthday, we will invite him or her to come to the library to select a new book for the Birthday Book Club. Parents of children with summer birthdays may select a date during the school year, such as a “half-birthday,” to honor their child. Your child will have the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of books. PHOTO DAY  Rescheduled for Tuesday, November 6th Smile! This year, all photo orders and payments can be made once you have received a proof photo of your child. Every student will be photographed and within 2 weeks you will receive a proof photo with instructions on how to place their order through our website. At the time of ordering, you will choose your package, background, retouching and other options. Remember to have your child dress their best for Picture Day! WALKING SCHOOL BUS  Help your kids build stamina and safe walking skills, increase focus at school and spend a little extra time with them: Lead a Walking School Bus route! The PTSA Walking School Bus will be walking to Dows Lane on Friday mornings starting September 14th and ending on November 16th for the fall season.
