2026 PTSA IRVINGTON SCIENCE FAIR
The PTSA Irvington Science Fair is a fun and supportive celebration of scientific exploration and exchange among fellow Irvington students and community members. Here are the guidelines for developing a hypothesis, designing an experiment and presenting your findings.

DATE/TIME/LOCATION
Saturday, March 14, 2026 | 10:30AM - 12:30PM | Maher Gym (IHS Campus) 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
All K-12th grade students from the Irvington Union Free School District. Students can work alone or find a partner or group. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

STEP 1: Complete the Participant Registration Form to confirm interest. 
At this stage, participants do NOT need to know their topic/project, you just need to register by January 30, 2026!  

STEP 2: Once you've chosen your science fair project, complete the Project Summary Form by February 23, 2026.

STEP 3: Review the Science Fair Project Guidelines for developing a hypothesis, designing an experiment and presenting your findings. Also, review the Frequently Asked Questions from Judges .

​Check your email for updates and instructions about collecting your poster board. 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We are looking for volunteers to help on the day of the Science Fair. 

Check-in, sell food, raffles, spirit wear, or help with set-up/clean up. ​Sign-Up to Volunteer!

Join our team of volunteer judges who talk to participants and score projects. Scientific/Medical/Engineering/Teaching experience is preferred.  Judges will be prepped in advance of the event and provided with resources for project evaluation and participant engagement. Sign-Up to be a Judge!
