CANDIDATES
Erin Bernstein
Erin Bernstein, an Irvington resident with a third grader, is a CPA with over 25 years of experience managing the finances of various colleges and K-12 schools across the country. She has also taught college forensic accounting. If elected, Erin would strongly advocate for the creation of a Finance Committee and ensure that the Board’s financial oversight is performed consistently and in a manner that is transparent to our community. She would also strongly advocate for safer and secure schools for our children, faculty, staff and families. Erin currently co-chairs the PTSA Brick Drive and the PTSA LSA Committee, and is a participant on the PTSA Nominating Committee. She has also participated in Master Schedule community focus groups, advocated for less screen time for students, and continually championed for greater financial transparency. |
Ruth Friedman
Ruth Friedman, an Irvington resident for over eight years, has three children: a son in Main Street, a daughter at Dows and a rising kindergartner. Ruth is passionate about education and committed to Irvington Schools being best in class. Ruth volunteers as class parent and serves as the Treasurer of the JCC on Hudson. Ruth, a CPA with over 20 years in the financial sector, is currently the CFO for a privately held company. As a board member, Ruth will serve the community’s best interests, maintaining transparency and fiscal responsibility. |
David Graeber
David Graeber is running for his second term as a School Board Trustee. David is a career educator, serving the children and teachers of New York as a teacher, coach, principal, and school improvement expert for over 18 years. He is passionate about giving his time and experience in service of our wonderful community! He is proudly supported by his loving wife and 2 children, who attend our great schools. |

- Deadline to submit an absentee ballot application if the ballot is to be picked up by the voter at 6 Dows Lane, Irvington, NY.

- Election Day
- 5 pm is the deadline for absentee ballots to be received by the district clerk at 6 Dows Lane, Irvington, NY.
