The Irvington NY PTSA helps bridge the gap between school and home for thousands of young people in our district everyday.
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that works to improve kids’ educational experiences, connect our community, ensure equal access to education, and advocate for change.
What We Do
FundraisingOur General Fund makes possible a wide array of projects and initiatives that help all students. The Bulldog Family Fund directly supports the needs of local families.
Parent Advisory Council (PAC)Each month, our PACs (made up of parent volunteers) meet with the leadership of each school to bring forward concerns from the community, ensuring your voice is heard.

AdvocacyThrough our committees, we work directly with the District, school administrators and the Board of Education to make change that serves our community.
Grade and Class ParentsFrom Kindergarten through to graduation, our Grade and Class Parents serve as the heart and soul of the PTSA in our schools, coordinating activities and communications to connect students, teachers and families.

CommunicationsWe offer a number of resources for staying in-the-know on school and community news including our blog, our email newsletter, and our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Programs and EventsEach year, we run a number of popular and impactful programs and events for that provide opportunities to connect, collaborate and celebrate as a school community.
