What is the Bulldog Family Fund?
- The Bulldog Family Fund (BFF) raises funds to ensure that all students in our district are able to participate in daily life alongside their peers.
- Last year the BFF provided almost $15,000 in financial and material resources to families with financial need.
How does it work?
Our district social worker works with families in the program. When there is a need, the BFF provides funds. The identities of families are kept confidential. Examples of what we provide include:

Who does the Bulldog Family Fund help?
The BFF follows guidelines published by the United Way that set household income levels necessary to afford basic needs in Westchester. For a family of four, that number falls between $60,000-$87,000 a year. However, we understand everyone’s family situation is different and the expenses associated with living in Westchester pose challenges for many of us. If you are struggling to afford your families’ basic needs, regardless of your income level, please reach out to our district social worker, Gina Menendez at Gina.Menendez@irvingtonschools.org. All communication with Gina is confidential. She has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and can help you access many necessary resources.
