Looking for a way to get more involved with the schools and the PTSA? Volunteer to chair one of our many School-specific or District-wide Committees! Whether you're interested in art, welcoming new families, community-building, scholarships or DEI (just to name a few), there is a committee that is right for you and your schedule!
Chair positions are a 2-year commitment, each committee has at least two chairpersons, and we'll provide support and training all the way. To learn about the committees and sign up, click HERE.
We solely rely on volunteers to run our PTSA programs and events, so please consider donating your time to give back to our schools and students! If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

he PTSA SCAFLD (Supporting Children and Families with Learning Differences) Committee is excited to kick off Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about learning and developmental disabilities.
Neurodiversity is the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving; and differences are not viewed as deficits.
All week, the SCAFLD Committee will host events and activities to bring our community together and embrace and celebrate each other's learning, thinking and behavioral differences while promoting acceptance, tolerance, and understanding of people who are different.
February marks two important opportunities to celebrate and honor our community: Lunar New Year on February 1 and Black History Month, all month long. We've compiled some resources to help you and your family recognize and celebrate this special time.
