Join the PTSA Executive Committee!

The Executive Committee of the Irvington NY PTSA serves as our leadership board and has fiscal responsibility for our operations. Roles on the Executive Committee provide a great volunteer leadership opportunity that can have a real impact on our school community. Each year, we run a selection process to nominate and elect new members of our committee.

Which roles are still open for 2022?

We are currently recruiting for the following open EC roles. Click HERE for role descriptions.

Main Street School Vice President
Outreach Vice President
Development Vice President
Executive Vice President

All positions will begin on July 1, 2022 and run for a two-year term through June 30, 2024. All positions are unpaid, volunteer roles.

2022 PTSA Spring Fundraiser: Spring into Summer (Camp) Party

We're excited to announce our annual spring fundraiser - the Spring Into Summer (Camp) Party at the Irvington Boat Club on May 20th at 7PM. Click HERE to buy tickets

*NEW THIS YEAR*

Instead of our annual spring luncheon, we're hosting a Friday evening beach party so more community members can attend!
For the first time, we’re directing all event proceeds to the PTSA Bulldog Family Fund (BFF) which provides financial assistance to 1 in 10 families in need in our District. With summer on the horizon, the BFF would like to raise $15,000 to support the flood of requests to help IUFSD students attend summer camp.
Tickets are $100 per person and two-thirds of the ticket price will go straight to the BFF.
Admission includes dinner, s’mores on the firepit, and LIVE entertainment featuring the Blue Roadhouse Orchestra!
Mixers and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided and you’re welcome to BYOB.

Upcoming Events: PTSA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

Mark your calendars! In May and June, the PTSA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee is hosting a roster of virtual and in-person events and welcome the community to attend!

Monday May 2 @ 7PM: Virtual Discussion on Social Change via ZOOM
A moderated panel discussion titled "None of Us is Free Until All of Us are Free: Movement Building for Social Change.” The panel will feature activists speaking to the ways their own identities inform their work as well as ways that different groups can act in solidarity with one another to build a more just society and world. Wednesday, May 25 @ 7PM: In-Person DEI Committee Happy Hour @ River City Grille
Come share your thoughts, socialize and discuss community priorities and upcoming programming with the DEI Committee.

Friday, June 3 @ 4PM: Diversity ROCKS! @ Dows Lane Elementary School
Bring the whole family to this free community event where we will paint rocks to celebrate diversity and togetherness. Brought to you by the DEI Committee and ArtXO.
