Calling all science enthusiasts or aspiring researchers! We're excited to announce the Irvington NY PTSA Science Fair on March 9, 2024 from 11am-2:30pm at the Maher Gym at Irvington High School!
Here's a quick look at how it'll work:
Confidential financial assistance to purchase supplies for Science Fair projects is available through the PTSA Bulldog Family Fund. Please contact school social workers Gina Menendez (Grades K-5)/gina.menendez@irvingtonschools.org or Katherine O'Sullivan (Grades 6-12)/katherine.osullivan@irvingtonschools.org to request support. The Science Fair is run solely by parent volunteers! Please sign up HERE to donate your time as a judge or for on-site support. Any questions? Join Us for Our Annual Fundraiser to Support the PTSA Bulldog Family Fund!Join us for a fun, relaxing, adults night out on the Hudson riverfront at the Sailhouse! Reconnect with old friends and make new connections while supporting Irvington school community members who are income eligible for free or reduced lunch (FRL), or in temporary financial need. $125 admission includes appetizers, dinner and dessert, and 60% of the ticket proceeds directly go towards the BFF. Full cash bar will be open all evening.
The PTSA is seeking volunteers to serve as K - 5 class parents for the 2023-24 school year. Sign up HERE if you're interested. Class parents will be selected after the class lists are published in the summer. You must have a child in the grade for which you are applying to be a class parent. Questions? The PTSA Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee together with Art XO and the PTSA Supporting Children and Families with Learning Differences (SCAFLD) Committee invite you to our annual Diversity Rocks event!
Friday, June 2nd (Rain Date: June 9th) 3:30 - 5:00PM Main Street School Playground Each registered participant will get a rock to decorate with images and words that support #DiversityRocks. We hope to scatter the rocks around the town to help spread the word that Irvington is a welcoming place for all! Please join our last General Membership meeting of the 2022-23 school year!

Come and hear from soon-to-graduate IHS seniors and parents of seniors share first-hand experiences, advice and tips to navigate the college selection and application process!
