Reconnect with old friends and make new connections while supporting Irvington school community members who are income eligible for free or reduced lunch (FRL), or in temporary financial need. $125 admission includes appetizers, dinner and dessert, and 60% of the ticket proceeds directly go towards the BFF. Full cash bar will be open all evening.
The PTSA is seeking volunteers to serve as K - 5 class parents for the 2023-24 school year. Sign up HERE if you're interested. Class parents will be selected after the class lists are published in the summer. You must have a child in the grade for which you are applying to be a class parent. Questions? Our annual Parent to Parent panel discussion is back and in person! Come and hear from soon-to-graduate IHS seniors and parents of seniors share first-hand experiences, advice and tips to navigate the college selection and application process! Tuesday, April 18th 7 - 8:30PM IHS Campus Theatre The panel will address pressing questions like: Do you really need to submit test scores? How many schools should you apply to? Early decision, Early acceptance, Regular Decision...how to decide what's right for you? On Monday, March 20th the PTSA will kick off our annual Readathon fundraiser! Last year, the readathon helped the PTSA raise more than $44,000 for our schools while getting students excited about reading,!
During the week of March 13th, check your child's backpack for instructions on how to activate their personal reader page where they can view and record their progress. If you're familiar with the Readathon, you can activate your reader’s account today by clicking the button below. We’re excited to kick off another scholarship season with seven awards totaling $20,000 and a new, simplified application process that’s more inclusive and easy to complete! All graduating Irvington High School seniors with plans to pursue postgraduate studies or technical/vocational training are eligible. Deadline to apply is May 15, 2023.
