WhizKidz Tutoring  is offering after-school enrichment programs in Visual Arts and Spanish Language ​at Dows Lane Elementary School.  The 8-class sessions take place in the school cafeteria from 2:30pm - 3:30pm, with the optional to add on homework help/academic enrichment until 4:15pm.  Classes start the week of October 17, 2022, space is limited and enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis. Chess Wizards is offering after-school chess classes at Dows Lane Elementary School and Main Street School! At Dows Lane, students in grades 1 - 3 can enroll in 10-class sessions held on Fridays from 2:30pm - 3:30pm starting November 4, 2022. • Make your Picks! Choose one team each week and move on to the next week if that team wins. The catch? You can’t pick the same team twice. If your team loses in the first 4 weeks, you still get another shot! You’re only eliminated if your picks lose two weeks in a row during the first 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, if your team loses, you are out.
• Collect your Winnings!

Meet the Candidates

The Executive Committee of the Irvington NY PTSA serves as our leadership board and has fiscal responsibility for our operations. Roles on the Executive Committee provide a great volunteer leadership opportunity that can have a real impact on our school community. Each year, we run a selection process to nominate and elect new members of our committee. ​

• Instead of our annual spring luncheon, we're hosting a Friday evening beach party so more community members can attend! 
• For the first time, we’re directing all event proceeds to the PTSA Bulldog Family Fund (BFF) which provides financial assistance to 1 in 10 families in need in our District. With summer on the horizon, the BFF would like to raise $15,000 to support the flood of requests to help IUFSD students attend summer camp. 
• Tickets are $100 per person and two-thirds of the ticket price will go straight to the BFF.
• Admission includes dinner, s’mores on the firepit, and LIVE entertainment featuring the Blue Roadhouse Orchestra!
• Mixers and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided and you’re welcome to BYOB.
